Marinating in Lavonne’s Kitchen

1. **Prepare the marinade**: Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, such as olive oil, acid (like vinegar or lemon juice), and spices.

2. **Place the meat in a bag or container**: Put the meat in a ziplock bag or a covered container.

3. **Pour the marinade over the meat**: Make sure the meat is fully coated with the marinade.

4. **Seal the bag or cover the container**: If using a bag, squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing. If using a container, cover it with plastic wrap or a lid.

5. **Refrigerate**: Place the bag or container in the refrigerator and let it marinate for the desired amount of time.

6. **Flip and massage**: Every few hours, flip the meat over and massage the marinade into the meat to ensure even coating.

7. **Cook the meat**: After the marinating time is up, remove the meat from the marinade and cook it as desired.

Remember to always marinate in the refrigerator, not at room temperature. And if you’re using a highly acidic marinade, be sure to marinate for a shorter amount of time to avoid mushy meat.
