Southern – Style Green Beans & White Potatoes with Smoked Turkey Recipe

Green Beans with Smoked Turkey
  • 1-2 smoked turkey legs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 large white potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups chicken bouillon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can green beans, drained
  • 1 cup chunky spicy salsa
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Season smoked turkey legs with garlic, onion, Cajun seasoning, and black pepper.
  1. Boil diced potatoes in chicken bouillon and water until tender (15-20 minutes).
  2. Drain potatoes and add to large pot with green beans.
  3. Shred baked smoked turkey and add to pot.
  4. Stir in chunky spicy salsa.
