Lavonne’s Sizzling Chicken Fajitas Recipe Servings: 4-6 people Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 large bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: avocado, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Marinate chicken in lime juice, garlic, oregano, and cumin for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high, cook chicken until browned (5-6 minutes).
  3. Add onion and bell peppers, cook until tender (5 minutes).
  4. Warm tortillas by wrapping in damp paper towels and microwaving 20-30 seconds.
