Curry Mac and Cheese Recipe | A Twist on a Classic Comfort Food
Hey everyone, welcome back to my kitchen! Today, I’m sharing a unique twist on a classic comfort food: curry mac and cheese! This recipe is perfect for anyone who loves a little spice in their life. By adding curry powder to my classic macaroni and cheese recipe, I created a dish that’s both familiar and excitingly new.
**Here’s the recipe:**
* 8 oz macaroni noodles
* 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
* 1 cup five cheese blend of Mexican cheese, shredded
* 2 large eggs
* 1 cup evaporated milk
* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 tsp curry powder
* Salt and pepper to taste
**Instructions:**
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Cook the macaroni noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, shredded cheese, eggs, evaporated milk, butter, curry powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
4. Pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and smooth the top.
5. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mac and cheese is heated through.
